Tag Rugby
The school took part in Tag Rugby up at Connacht Rugby National School Blitz on October 5th and we loved being
involved!
It is a fantastic opportunity for children to enjoy a rugby blitz at the start of the school year and may also
encourage them to join the local club for the first time! Our 3rd and 4th class students attended and great fun was had by all.
Book Fair
The Book Fair will be at the school from the October 9th until 16th. There will be an opportunity for the children to visit the fair during the day.
The Book Fair is wonderful opportunity to encourage a love of reading, it gives the children a chance to browse and explore different books, discussing them with their classmates and building excitement around reading. The Book Fair also benefits the school directly, as a percentage of the proceeds are returned to the school in the form of books and resources. This enables us to add new and engaging titles to our classroom libraries for all the pupils to enjoy. We greatly appreciate the support of our families which help make the Book Fair both and enjoyable event and a valuable resource for our school.
