Bake Sale

Our school bake sale, held on Friday 19th June, was a wonderful success. There was fantastic support from pupils, families, and staff, making it a fun and enjoyable event for everyone involved.

A sincere thank you to all who donated baked goods, helped with the sale, and supported the event. Your generosity and enthusiasm were greatly appreciated.

All proceeds will go towards supporting our school community, and we are very grateful for the contribution made by everyone who participated.

Thank you for helping to make the bake sale such a memorable and successful occasion.

Sports Day

Our School Sports Day 2026 was a great success, with students enjoying a fun-filled day of races, games, and friendly competition. There was plenty of enthusiasm, teamwork, and laughter throughout the day as pupils took part in a variety of activities and supported one another.

A big thank you to all of our students and staff for making the event such an enjoyable occasion. It was wonderful to see everyone getting involved and making lasting memories together. Well done to all who participated!

Graduation 2026

On 12th June, we celebrated our Graduation 2026 ceremony, marking an important milestone for our graduating students as they completed their primary school journey.

It was a special occasion filled with pride, happy memories, and celebrations of all that our graduates have achieved during their time at Kilroe National School.

We wish all our graduates every success and happiness as they begin the next chapter of their education and embark on their secondary school journey. We are confident that they will continue to grow, learn, and achieve great things.

School Tour

Our recent school tour to Westport Adventure Park was a huge success and a fantastic day out for all involved. Students enjoyed a wide range of exciting activities, challenged themselves, and had plenty of opportunities to work together, have fun, and make lasting memories.

The day was filled with laughter, adventure, and great enthusiasm from start to finish. It was wonderful to see everyone getting involved and enjoying the experience.

A big thank you to our staff for organising such a memorable trip. We are delighted that the tour was such a positive and enjoyable experience for all our students.

Visit from Clydagh N.S.

We were delighted to welcome students and staff from Clydagh National School to our school recently.

The visit provided a wonderful opportunity for pupils from both schools to meet, learn together, and take part in a variety of enjoyable activities. It was a day filled with friendship, cooperation, and fun, helping to strengthen the connection between our school communities.

We would like to thank the students and staff of Clydagh N.S. for their visit and for making the day such a positive and memorable experience. We look forward to meeting again and continuing to build these valuable friendships in the future.

Field Trip

Our students recently enjoyed an educational visit to the Corrib Water Treatment Plant, where they had the opportunity to learn about the journey of water from source to tap.

During the visit, students explored the treatment process, discovered how clean drinking water is produced, and gained a greater understanding of the importance of water conservation and environmental responsibility.

The trip was both informative and engaging, providing valuable real-world learning experiences that complemented classroom studies. We would like to thank the staff at the Corrib Water Treatment Plant for their warm welcome and for sharing their knowledge and expertise with our students.
