Welcome
Fáilte isteach!
A very warm welcome awaits you at Kilroe National School. Nestled in the picturesque, country setting, our pupils thrive from our holistic approach to teaching matched with a very supportive community that is wrapped around them. With a dedicated staff, we make every effort to combine academic excellence with an outstanding range of sporting, musical, and extracurricular activities. Our school proverb 'mol na óige agus tiocfaigh sí' is one we live by everyday, praising and encouraging our pupils along with celebrating their individuality. We pride ourselves on our inclusive culture and we encourage our pupils to be friendly and respectful with one another. Our latest, modern extension will give our pupil’s fresh space to extend their learning. This bright, new building is fully wheelchair accessible and boasts of a fully equipped kitchen. Our pupils achieve their potential in a caring and supportive environment. We foster a positive, open relationship between pupils, staff and parents. The best results in education are achieved when the home and the school are working in harmony. We welcome the interaction of our parents and community. Our wish for all our pupils is that each one reaches his/her potential and has a happy and fulfilling school life in Kilroe National School.
